Romao & The Sound Of Drums began in South Beach, Florida, as a full blown one-man show with unstoppable energy and an image to match. Romao is a unique entertainer who is responsible for reshaping the typical nightclub persona into a fashion filled, sizzling, interactive entertainment experience. 

Today, Romao and the Sound of Drums “tHe PiRaTe eXpeRience TouR”brings together an explosive array of percussion, vocals, musicians (small horn, trumpet, sax, guitar), DJ, original music, dancers and engaging visuals. Romao infuses the typical DJ dance club persona with the theatrics of Mick Jagger style front man performance backed by the pumping sounds of his drums and the dance club driving rhythms.

To date Romao has held highly respected Nightclub residency's (including Liv (Miami), Glam Slam (Prince Miami), Space, Nikki Beach and Tryst in Las Vegas) and has performed at high profile corporate events (Hennessy, Absolute, Pepsi Cola, Versace, IBM) all over the world including Miami, Columbia, Israel, Chile, Las Vegas, Chicago, to name a few. 

Romao has performed with Superstar entertainment industry giants Tito Jackson, Emilio Estefan, Andy Garcia and world class electronic music DJ’s (Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Tenaglia).
