Our Remixing 101 course will give you a broad understanding of the techniques, software and equipment used in the intricate process of creating your own remixes and mash ups. This course consists of 4 private lessons meeting once per week for four weeks. Each lesson lasts 2 hours and is taught in our top of the line facility in Westminster, Colorado. Take a tour of the studio online at the Elevation Sound Studios Website. During the lesson you will learn what software and hardware combinations exist and which setup is right for your music production goals. You’ll learn how to work with audio and midi files and properly analyze the musical structures, key, chord progressions and rhythmic elements in any song you want to remix. Finally you’ll learn how to put it all together into a remix and mash up you can call your own. After our Remixing 101 course you will know all about the exciting world of remixing music and what the next steps are to take your musical ideas and showcase them to the world.
